Great Leaders of Today
Although you may have met several good leaders, only a few are great leaders. Given the opportunity, what great leader would you like to work with?
Select a great leader from your industry or an industry you are interested in joining. You should consider the following: in your current industry, there may be a position you aspire to join or you may have interest in joining another company that is more aligned with your goals and aspirations.
Write a 10 page biographical essay describing your leader. Consider including the following in your essay:
- The personal or environmental factors that led to your leader’s successes and failures
- The relationships that led to your leader’s successes and failures
- The behaviors, including ethical behaviors, which led to your leader’s successes and failures
- The leadership style of your leader
- The influence your leader has in his or her industry
